This is the exciting part! We'll schedule our first session and roughly schedule future sessions, if necessary. On that day, you'll receive a Google Meets invite through your provided email. Just make sure you have a stable internet connection and your sound turned on...you're all set!
              

Between sessions, your tutor will update and curate your profile information, online assignments, return your emails, and make sure you're on the right path. If you have any desire to change or edit how this is carried out, just tell your tutor! Everyone at HomeAc is adept at adaptation, and only you really know what you like!

Academic Complement
Sometimes class can be difficult. Whether you've always struggled with learning or you're just now hitting a challenge zone, we can all use complemental help with our studies. Here are some scenarios that would make AcComp the right plan for you.

"I JUST NEED HELP WITH THIS ONE LITTLE THING..."
In this case, you'll just want one or two sessions to get over a misconception, class absence, etc. We can help! Just sign up for the sessions you want, and we'll schedule you right away.

"I HAVE A BIG TEST COMING UP AND COULD USE HELP STUDYING FOR IT..."
Way to get ahead of the game! We can help! Sign up for the sessions you want, and send us any review/study materials you have, and we'll schedule you for the amount of sessions you want before your test. When you work with us and do your part, you'll see improvement in your knowledge and a boost in confidence.

"THIS SECTION HAS BEEN REALLY DIFFICULT...COULD WE MEET UNTIL WE'RE ON THE NEXT UNIT?"
You got it! You'll schedule a handful of sessions that suit you, and we'll form a gameplan that involves filling in learning gaps, assigning exercises to further build your skills, and review any current material you might need help with. If you need to return in the future, you can continue working with your same tutor!

Academic Supplement
Sometimes school doesn't always offer the challenging support we need. For more involved academics, our AcSupp plan would be a great fit for you or your kiddo. Below are some examples of how AcSupp works.

MATH ADVANCEMENT
You or your student are not challenged in your math class. The material rarely takes much time to complete correctly, and interest is waning...We can help! Using various online tools and virtual interaction, we can set up a plan to help any student rise to their true potential in math -- while still making connections to the material being worked on in class. This would involve supplemental material, investigating curiosities, engaging projects, etc. Lots of possibilities!

SCIENCE ADVANCEMENT
This is similar to the Math Advancement plan, but doesn't necessarily have to connect to what's going on in class. The projects here can go off on wild tangents including computer programming, robotics, astronomy, etc. Let's get creative!

WRITING PROJECTS
Let us help you or your child write the next Great American Novel! If you have a big essay assignment, we can help you edit. If you want to write a book, we can lay down a plan of attack for starting, working on, and completing it. Whatever writing issues you need help with, we have a tutor for you!

HOME SCHOOLING
This scenario is where HomeAc tutors really shine! If the math/science/writing is getting out of your capable hands because your kiddos are devouring anything you throw at them, let us help you. This plan can be as involved or relaxed as you require -- just a session or two per week or multiple hours per day depending on your family's needs.

Sessions start at $50 per hour, but with multiple children or more hours per week, that price can go down. Contact us and we'll work with you!

While based in the Denver area, HomeAc is mostly virtual. There are a variety of options to meet virtually:

Whichever way is preferable for you, we can accommodate! If you're near the Denver area, we can also meet in-person (with masks in an outdoor space).
